It's Raining Pigs and Noodles by Jack Prelutsky (Poetry)

     I read It's Raining Pigs and Noodles written by Jack Prelutsky and illustrated by James Stevenson.  This is a book full of over one hundred comical poems and creative drawings. The illustrations are very cute and funny and I think young children would get a kick out of them!  The poems would be easy for children to read.  I think this book would be fun for me as the teacher to read one poem to my class each day before beginning an english language arts lesson.  After a while, I think it would be fun to choose a different student each day to read a poem from this book to the whole class before the lesson begins.
